People say we shouldn't try to police the world and get mixed up in other people's politics, but the laws in Iran are beyond ridiculous and basic human rights are being infringed upon. You shouldn't be sentenced to hang for being raped or for having consensual homosexual sex. It's like the AIDS crises in Africa, if we help the people we may hurt the people in charge somewhat but they need our help.

This kind of help seems to do more HARM than good.  If I could see some kind of improvement.  All I see coming from it is dead, from both sides.

We must also do it because Iran is not complying with UN resolutions to stop their nuclear program. The only solution is war. We must destroy Iran's military and nuclear facilities and topple the government. We must liberate the Iranians from their oppressive government and give them the freedom and rights they deserve.

And I agree we should also aid in Africa. Perhaps sending about 100,000 troops to Darfur to supplement the 80,000 UN troops already there should do it? Plus sending more aid in the form of money and crucial supplies.

Again, remember when we tried to "help" the Iraqis topple their government and when we tried to destroy their nonexistent nuclear programs? That didn't end well. And Iran is actually a force to be reckoned with this time.

In all honesty, let Iran be.  It's not our problem.  We should stay out of all matters which do not concern the US, both for the good of the US and for the good of the world.

Diplomacy is obviously not working.  The United States, the UN, and other countries have put sanctions on Iran, yet Iran is not changing its ways.
